This Thanksgiving, we were thankful for many things. Warmth indoors, delicious meals, calls with family, and for our first Alaskan Snowshoe.  Before our turkey was ready to come out of the oven we escaped to check out a nearby trail that we’d been eyeing from the road.  And it was well worth it….beautiful!  (and only -5!)

It was a wonderful way to spend Thanksgiving afternoon, take advantage of the brief daylight, and then come back home to finish cooking, and then relax the evening away together!
