Here we are, taken off from life we know & folks we love…and trying on the way up North.  In Alaska.  B is a teacher, who got a full time job up north & N is a researcher, who will be working remotely.

N is mostly going to be the blogger here. Though she has always tended toward internet-quietness, we’re thinking a talkative spot like this could be a way of documenting and sharing the adventure with words & pictures. Also, it’s going to be a long and dark winter here, may as well have the internet to talk to!
