Since the arctic air keeps deciding to move south for the winter…up here in the arctic it’s warmed up quite a bit.  Today it was in the mid-20s at our house; a temperature I now declare to be pretty warm!  It is oh so pleasant to only put on a coat and walk out the door…of course, the warmer temperatures have created a bit of an ice-situation and even closed schools a bit last week.   So though it feels a bit like a spring thaw, I suppose that arctic air will return home yet again to finish up the last few months of winter.

& In it’s usual style, the sky has proved to be quite beautiful….

& Later that night the sky was clear so we went down the road a bit to watch the northern lights.  They weren’t as bright or swirly as we’ve seen them, but still fun to watch, and experiment with taking pictures.
